Update for Sep 16

Time flies. It is now end of Sep 16 and one more quarter to go before the end of 2016. This month is relatively good with dividends coming in from Ascendas REIT (due to advance distribution) and HPH Trust of a total of S$ 672.54, increasing the total dividend to-date this year to S$ 9,160.43:

Update for Aug 16

This August yielded a total dividend of S$2.4K, which is the highest dividend amount that 笨 mummy received in a month since she started on her stock journey. And the total dividend amount for 2016 to-date has exceeded that of year 2014 and S$490 away from year 2015.

Another 4 months to go for 2016 and maybe the possibility of hitting the S$10,000 dividend mark is really something quite achievable.

Update for Jul 16

July is a month of unexpected events that caused additional cash outflow in term of medical bills. 笨 mummy had to visit the dentist for an unexpected wisdom tooth issue - 2 of her wisdom teeth decided to create trouble just when she is pregnant and she needs to incur dental expenses to manage them until she is due in Nov. 

And yet, there isn't much cash inflow from the stock market, only a small dividend income received for the month of Jul 16:

Update for May 16

May has always been the month where most stocks 笨mummy owns started paying out dividends. However , one stock has slightly delayed its payout to Jun that is Ascendas REIT. So just have to wait a bit longer for the money to come in.

笨mummy has not been actively participate in the market since start of 2016 as she is keeping cash to prepare for the possibility of clearing her outstanding mortgage in 2017 in the event the bank interest rate goes up more than what she expected. She has in a way missed out on some opportunities to gain from the up and down of the market which her some of her friends did. On hindsight she is upset, but who can predict the market right.
